The Process

• 1. Consult with client; get any relevant files (photos, etc); 25% deposit due
• 2. Draft layouts on paper and in Photoshop
• 3. Create initial mockup(s), run these by the client
• 4. Perfect final layout mockup
• 5. Slice and code layout
• 6. Input content, configure and integrate blogs, slideshows, etc
• 7. Test everything for functionality and accessibility
• 8. Get files to client, or publish on the client's server; remaining balance due

The Bio

I'm a part-time freelance web designer with about 5 years of design experience; I currently do my design work on a MacBook with Photoshop CS4, Espresso, xScope, Firefox, and Cyberduck. When not buried up to my ears in code, I can generally be found studying (I'm a student at Trinity Washington University, where I'm pursuing a degree in International Affairs) or training (I practice both Uechi-ryu Karate and Aikido).
